Random: “Awesometasticallydopeness”

Yesterday was ummm…RANDOM…I felt like taking pictures…I took my camera bag to work…I posted on instagram that I was going to be in center city after work to get a few shots in…My homeboy Ryan comments on the pic like “I’ll be there around 4”…My homeboy Chris tweeted me like dude I’ll be downtown too…I get downtown and they both aren’t there yet, so I go to Mitchell and Ness to burn some time…I get there and my homeboy Jules is there with a freakin suit on reading a magazine like an old ass rich man…My homegirl Nat wanted him to go to the store to get lotion for her face and some toothpaste…I walk Jules to the store…we got the stuff, then head back…I get hungry, we go to 500º (a burger place in center city)…While there I get a text from my homeboy Aaron who wanted to hang out downtown too…Jules gets a call from his homegirl named Marquita who wanted to hang out…Marquita comes in 15min later with her homegirl Sydney…Sydney’s little cousin comes in…My homeboys Chris, Ryan, and Aaron gets there…We all talk and decide to go to Rum Runners. Sydneys cousin & Ryan leaves…We get a few drinks, and leave Rum Runners to go to Drinkers…Aaron gets a call from my homegirl “T-dub the ninja” and she comes…We drink some more. Jules & Chris leave. So now its Me, Aaron, Marquita, Sydney, and ”T-dub the ninja”. We drink some more. ”T-dub the ninja” leaves with Aaron. Marquita’s friend “Girl who goes un named because I forgot it”, and “A cool guy that is loves hip-hop” comes in. We decide to go to Mad Mex. We get there and Aaron comes in…Marquita goes to the bathroom. “Marquita’s random drunk friend” comes over to our table…then disappears… We still talk and have fun…We all part.

Wild thing about this whole day. We all ended up being around people that we just met THAT DAY!…and had fun together as though we new each other for a long time…

Lets Take a Trip

For the past few months I’ve noticed that long distance relationships have become a norm and less taboo. Personally I think it just might be one of the dopest things ever. Not the situation…but the thought of it in general. Distance truly shouldn’t be a factor when it comes to a relationship. I believe that if you genuinely fall for someone…it shouldn’t really depend on where they are…but where your HEARTS are. There have been more and more cases were people have randomly met on social networking sites such as Facebook and Tumblr…and fell in love…Some people laugh at the fact that sometimes people meet people this way but I think its somewhat better than just spontaneously hooking up with them in person. With social networks you can actually get a feel for the person…see if you actually share common interests…and have meaningful conversations with them without thinking in the back of your mind “whoa…i hope she doesn’t smell my breath…i knew i shouldn’t have ate that hoagie >:[” while walking down the street. **lol**

Long story short…I don’t find anything wrong with meeting someone online who lives in California (while you on the other hand live in Philadelphia)…love, connections, friendships, etc isn’t measured by distance…
