Lets Take a Trip
For the past few months I’ve noticed that long distance relationships have become a norm and less taboo. Personally I think it just might be one of the dopest things ever. Not the situation…but the thought of it in general. Distance truly shouldn’t be a factor when it comes to a relationship. I believe that if you genuinely fall for someone…it shouldn’t really depend on where they are…but where your HEARTS are. There have been more and more cases were people have randomly met on social networking sites such as Facebook and Tumblr…and fell in love…Some people laugh at the fact that sometimes people meet people this way but I think its somewhat better than just spontaneously hooking up with them in person. With social networks you can actually get a feel for the person…see if you actually share common interests…and have meaningful conversations with them without thinking in the back of your mind “whoa…i hope she doesn’t smell my breath…i knew i shouldn’t have ate that hoagie >:[” while walking down the street. **lol**
Long story short…I don’t find anything wrong with meeting someone online who lives in California (while you on the other hand live in Philadelphia)…love, connections, friendships, etc isn’t measured by distance…

I dated the same guy for 4 years and he was in Tanzania!! :) and distance is not what broke us up! Idk why people think it doesn’t work but it worked fine for me. It just made my heart fonder n everytime I saw him I felt something I can’t express!
